Job summary

Oberweis Dairy is hiring a Shift Leader to help run our ice cream shop. You’ll support the store team, deliver friendly service, and help manage opening or closing duties in a fast-paced environment.

As a Shift Leader, you’ll be the right-hand to the Store Manager, ensuring operations run smoothly, customers leave happy, and the shop stays clean and well-stocked. This role requires leadership, reliability, and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Read, write and understand the English language.
• Ability to do simple math.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Positive, upbeat attitude.
• Available to work 3-5 days per week, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Carry up to 50 lbs
• Stand and walk on a hard surface for 5-8 hours per day
• Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperatures as low as 32 F during inventory
• Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in freezer at -10 F during inventory and stocking
