Job summary

Oberweis Dairy in Naperville, IL is seeking a Shift Leader to help guide our ice cream shop to success. You’ll be the right-hand to the Store Manager, leading the scoop team, ensuring top-notch customer service, and managing opening/closing tasks with a positive, upbeat attitude.

Role requires leadership experience, basic math, and the ability to work 3–5 days per week including nights and weekends. Expect a fun, fast-paced environment and opportunities to grow within the brand.

POSITION SUMMARY

You'll be the right-hand hero to the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and support our scoop squad
• Deliver amazing customer service
• Manage opening or closing shifts and daily operations
• Keep the shop clean, stocked and running smoothly
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Carry up to 50 lbs
• Stand and walk on a hard surface for 5-8 hours per day
• Tolerate up to 45 minutes in a walk-in cooler at temperatures as low as 32 F during inventory
• Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in freezer at -10 F during inventory and stocking
