Job Summary

Each day at Taziki’s is different and exciting! Shifts may be mornings or evenings. In the mornings, you'll help prep the store for lunch and catering, ensuring food safety and recipe accuracy. Before opening, gather your team for pre-shift updates and community engagement. During afternoons, manage shift change, help on the line, and prepare for dinner online orders.

In the evenings, assist with online Take-Out orders, serve dine-in guests, and prepare for the next day’s catering and prep work.

Responsibilities:

• Serving guests and building meaningful connections
• Opening & closing tasks
• Being responsible for the restaurant when a manager isn’t on duty
• Setting shift tone and giving clear directions
• Mastering menu and product knowledge
• Supporting or working stations (including kitchen)
• Prepping food and doing side work
• Following cash handling and payment procedures
• Maintaining Health Department Standards
• Following Alcohol Handling policies
• Proper food handling and storage
• Maintaining hygiene, uniform, and appearance standards

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Prior food service experience preferred
• Leadership, guest service, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Follow instructions and policies
• Energetic, eager to learn, loves fresh food
• Flexible schedule
• Dependable and trustworthy
• Obtain Food Manager’s certification shortly after starting

• Abide by company standards and policies
• Obtain Food Manager’s certification soon after employment

Working Conditions & Hours:

Typical shifts include:

• Morning: 7am - 4pm
• Evening: 4pm - 10pm
• Weekends and holidays as applicable (Closed Thanksgiving & Christmas)

Hours vary by store. Work environment includes kitchen equipment like flat-tops, grills, ovens, slicers, and food processors.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking/standing for long periods
• Reaching, bending, twisting
• Lifting up to 30 pounds
• Wiping and cooking
