Job summary

Jersey Mike's in Utah is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations and create an engaging environment for customers and team members. You will lead the shift, model positive leadership, and ensure a high standard of service and food quality.

You will coach Crew Members, assist with training, and help maintain cleanliness and safety. This role offers opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, community-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, food service, or customer service.
• Willingness to lead by example and develop others.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during assigned shifts by modeling positive leadership and delivering great service.
• Deliver an outstanding guest experience with a "Sub Above" standard.
• Prepare fresh subs and ensure food quality per Jersey Mike's standards.
• Coach, support, and motivate Crew Members each shift.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe environment.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Manage shift execution including opening and closing tasks.
• Assist with inventory, rotation, and minimizing waste.
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations.
