Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Grimes, IA is hiring a Shift Leader to oversee daily operations and guest experience. You will partner with the GM/AGM to ensure brand standards, product quality, cleanliness, and a welcoming store atmosphere during your shift.

You will lead and coach the team, manage tasks, handle routing of duties, and perform administrative duties such as deposits and inventory. The role requires 6 months of leadership experience, flexible availability, and being at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

At least 6 months of experience in a leadership role, or properly trained and approved to take on Shift Leader responsibilities.
Flexible availability to support business and team needs; may work different days, times, or shifts as business and operational needs change.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Lead shifts with energy, keep the team engaged and on track.
Optimize product sales while minimizing waste and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.
Ensure team follows standard operating procedures and safety standards.
Coach and train team on roles, product knowledge, and promotions.
Own the shift and ensure smooth hand-offs to the next team.
