Job summary

Northern Blends Smoothie King is seeking a part-time or full-time Shift Leader to guide teams, uphold guest service standards, and manage store operations in Michigan and Ohio. You will open/close, supervise cash handling, and ensure product quality while maintaining a clean, efficient environment.

The role emphasizes leadership development, with coaching, on-the-job training, and opportunities to advance as the company expands locations across Michigan and the Columbus area.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Leadership or keyholder experience (food service or retail preferred).
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• High accountability, integrity, and a guest-first mindset.
• Available evenings, weekends, and up to 40 hours/week.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in cold environments (walk-in coolers/freezers).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during shifts.
• Uphold Smoothie King standards in service, cleanliness, and product quality.
• Open and/or close the store, including cash handling and checklists.
• Manage labor, breaks, and shift flow efficiently.
• Address guest issues with professionalism and care.
• Train, coach, and inspire team members daily.
• Monitor store performance and support KPI targets.
