Job summary

Jersey Mike's Coralville is looking for a Manager in Training to support in-store operations alongside the General Manager. You will help ensure the store runs smoothly, while leading by example and following Jersey Mike's systems with integrity.

You will manage shifts, train new team members, and safeguard cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This position offers hourly pay and benefits and requires a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, and serve food with a positive, helpful attitude.
• Input orders into POS, handle payments, and give correct change.
• Prepare cold and hot subs per customer specs with safety guidelines.
• Operate kitchen equipment (knives, grills, slicers, etc.).
• Keep restaurant clean: clear tables, sweep/mop floors, sanitize utensils, restrooms.
• Communicate with team and management to schedule, train, and resolve issues.
• Address customer concerns calmly per Jersey Mike's standards.
• Maintain neat appearance and comply with uniform policy.
