Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Corsicana, TX is seeking an energetic Shift Leader to help guide daily restaurant operations and deliver exceptional guest service. You will work with the team on service quality, speed, and hospitality during your shift.

This part-time role focuses on crew training, food safety, cash handling, and building local sales through community outreach and catering efforts. Flexible availability including evenings and weekends is required.

Formación

• Restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous shift leadership, supervisory, or management experience is a plus.
• Strong guest-service and communication skills.
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Outgoing and comfortable engaging with businesses and members of the local community.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Passion for great food, hospitality, and growing the business.

Responsabilidades

• Lead assigned shifts and support smooth day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Provide excellent guest service and quickly resolve guest concerns.
• Train and coach team members on food preparation, service, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Ensure food quality, safety, cleanliness, and brand standards are maintained throughout the shift.
• Assist with cash handling, inventory, opening/closing procedures, and shift documentation.
• Monitor labor and restaurant activity throughout the shift.
• Support restaurant management in achieving sales and operational goals.
• Participate in daily community marketing and sales-building activities.
• Visit and connect with local businesses and organizations to introduce the restaurant and build relationships.
• Help generate catering leads and repeat business through outreach and follow-up.
• Participate in local events, promotions, social media, and other grassroots marketing efforts.
