Job summary

W&M Restaurants is hiring for a Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will lead service, ensure menu knowledge, and manage cash transactions with accuracy while upholding safety and brand standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within the company. Flexible schedules include day, night, part-time, or full-time shifts, with competitive pay and benefits based on location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Accessibility to dependable and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are a necessity.
• Able to perform basic business math.
• Able to complete required online training and certification modules.
• Physical dexterity required (the ability to move up to 45 lbs).
• Able to complete tasks that include stooping, pushing/pulling up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service in a fast paced, fun environment.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of menu items, recipes, prices and serving sizes.
• Accurately handle cash/credit card transactions with attention to detail.
• Support shift operations by issuing and reconciling cash drawers to cashiers at the start/end of their shifts.
• Prepare food and beverages consistently to meet brand quality standards.
• Maintain uncompromising food safety and cleanliness standards per company, Department of Health, OSHA, and brand standards.
• Conduct routine safety and food safety audits to ensure compliance with company, Department of Health, OSHA, and brand standards.
• Assist ARGM/RGM with training new crew members.
• Communicate shift-related issues or concerns to ARGM/RGM.
• Assist in resolving any service or food issues with customers in a professional and respectful manner.
• Assist ARGM/RGM with unloading deliveries, stocking supplies, and maintaining required inventory levels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support restaurant operations.
