RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the team on your shift, drive guest satisfaction, and keep store operations running smoothly. You will coach staff, handle food service, inventory, cash handling, and ensure safety and cleanliness while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Strong communication and team building skills.

Responsibilities

• Model a cheerful demeanor in all interactions and hold team accountable.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide the team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, promotional communication, and cash wrap controls.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
