Job summary

Northern Blends Smoothie King is seeking a dynamic Shift Leader to support stores across Michigan and Ohio. You will lead and support the team during shifts, uphold standards, and help ensure guest satisfaction.

This part-time or full-time role emphasizes leadership development, flexible scheduling, paid training, and opportunities for performance-based raises as you help grow the business and brand.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous leadership or keyholder experience (food service or retail preferred).
• Strong communication and team-building skills.
• High accountability, integrity, and a guest-first mindset.
• Available evenings, weekends, and up to 40 hours/week.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in cold environments (walk-in coolers/freezers).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during shifts
• Uphold Smoothie King standards in service, cleanliness, and product quality
• Open and/or close the store, including cash handling and checklists
• Manage labor, breaks, and shift flow efficiently
• Address guest issues with professionalism and care
• Train, coach, and inspire team members daily
• Monitor store performance and support KPI targets
