Job summary

A Shift Leader at Ambrosia QSR in Portland, OR oversees designated shifts, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operations. After certification, you manage assigned time periods, lead the team on front-of-house duties during peak hours, and coordinate with leadership to execute restaurant initiatives.

The role requires knowledge across team duties, safety compliance, and customer service excellence, with opportunities to guide staff and respond to guest concerns while supporting daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Serv Safe training & certificate preferred.
• Experience using a POS system.
• Shift training conducted at current restaurant and verified by managers.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop staff with established training plans to meet goals.
• Ensure breaks and minor work limitations are followed.
• Prevent duties if employees are ill or unfit for duty.
• Report employee concerns to GM and HR.
• Provide exceptional guest service and resolve concerns professionally.
• Conduct routine walk-throughs to engage with guests and enhance experience.
• Promote a guest-first mindset and strong service; manage issues in GM absence.
• Oversee food safety compliance and enforce safety procedures.
