Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to guide bakery operations, bake and package orders, and lead the Cookie Crew to deliver warm cookies and an exceptional guest experience. You will coach teammates, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth daily service in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership on duty, staff development, and maintaining quality, safety, and speed, with availability during evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Must be 18+ and able to obtain location-specific food safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during shift, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering guest service.
• Coach and motivate team members, providing direction and feedback.
• Prioritize tasks to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
• Maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates and partner with store leadership to optimize operations.
• Jump in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
