Job summary

Southern Rock Restaurants, LLC is seeking a Shift Leader in Owensboro, KY to supervise restaurant teams and ensure exceptional service and food quality. You will oversee opening/closing, manage labor, monitor inventory, and maintain sanitation standards while training staff and handling guest concerns to uphold the Six Service Standards.

This role requires strong communication, the ability to stand long hours, and the energy to motivate a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Leading, monitoring, coaching and training team members to ensure operational execution.
• Adheres to scheduled and projected labor metrics while monitoring sales throughout the shift.
• Ensures all assigned cleaning duties and tasks are completed thoroughly and with integrity.
• Proficient in all restaurant positions and work hands-on with team members in each area.
• Works as part of a team to provide an exceptional Guest experience to our patrons.
• Handle Guest issues or conflicts and report them to the General Manager immediately.
• Performs opening and closing managerial duties including readiness checklists and cash handling duties.
• Communicates effectively to the management team regarding essential information impacting the business.
