Bruegger's Bagels in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Shift Leader to partner with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. You will coach and provide feedback, open and close the store, and ensure food quality and a safe, clean environment.

This role offers a flexible schedule, advancement opportunities, and benefits. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is valued in a fast-paced bakery setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days including early hours and weekends.
• Must pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess or obtain ServSafe Certification before leadership training.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and meet driving qualifications.
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
• Additional benefits eligibility based on position guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Motivate the team and set morale and tone in collaboration with the GM.
• Provide feedback and coach team members when needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Ensure quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store.
• Grow your career; many GMs started as Shift Leaders and Team Members.
