Job summary

Einstein Bros Bagels in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily operations, motivate the team, and ensure a great guest experience. You will actively participate in opening and closing duties and contribute to a high-energy, customer-focused environment.

You will coach coworkers, maintain food quality and safety standards, and ensure a clean, well-organized store. This role offers clear paths to advancement as many General Managers started as Shift Leaders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work varied hours/days including early hours and weekends.
• Must pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must obtain ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid state-issued driver’s license (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Maintain quality of food and beverages and a safe, clean store environment.
• Opportunity for career growth; many General Managers started as Shift Leaders.
