RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure smooth store operations on each shift. You will coach team members, manage daily tasks, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while sustaining a welcoming guest experience across busy hours.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume, guest-focused environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and step in to assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Drive Operational Excellence and train team to meet standards.
• Ensure proper execution of inventory, vendor check-ins, and promotional communication.
• Oversee store processes like write-offs, cash wrap, and compliance documentation.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Model Communication & Accountability by relaying updates to shift associates.
• Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to drive results.
• Support a culture of accountability, respect, and teamwork.
• Step in during busy times to show leadership in action.
