Einstein Bros. Bagels in Palatine, IL is hiring a Shift Leader to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience. You will open/close with minimal supervision, coach teammates, and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

The role offers a flexible schedule, paid time off after 90 days, no evenings or nights, competitive pay with tips, plus EAP, life coaching, and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy.
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
• Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to motivate the team and deliver a great guest experience.
• Empower Shift Leaders to set morale and tone and to provide coaching when needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision while ensuring quality and safety.
• Opportunity to rise within the company, with many General Managers starting as Shift Leaders and Team Members.
