Job summary

KFC is seeking a Shift Lead in a fast-paced, high-energy environment in Schererville, Indiana. You will lead shifts, coach Team Members, and uphold food safety and service standards while partnering with the RGM on business initiatives.

You will manage cash handling, inventory, and labor policies, ensuring quality orders and a positive guest experience. Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience, with 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Adheres to cash, security, inventory and labor policies.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Execute KFC Connect Success Routine to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee Team Members' shift tasks and maintain clean appearance.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and accuracy of orders.
• Provide feedback to the RGM on performance.
• Assist with hiring and screening Team Member candidates.
• Assist with Profit & Loss by following cash control and labor procedures.
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Maintain facility health and safety standards.
