RaceTrac is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a winning team on your shift, set a cheerful tone, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll mentor teammates, handle food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling while staying compliant with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks with breaks.
• Willingness to obtain permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).
• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift.
• Set a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet RaceTrac’s guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment.
• Model Communication & Accountability – relay important updates from leadership to shift associates.
• Monitor task completion and provide immediate feedback to drive results.
• Oversee store operations on designated shifts.
