Job summary

AES Restaurants in Athens, Ohio is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. In this role, you’ll be accountable for the restaurant’s performance during your shifts, leading team members and driving service excellence.

You must be dedicated to coaching, managing costs, and operational controls while maintaining a high-energy environment and fulfilling customer needs. Ideal candidates are reliable, certified in ServSafe, and possess strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
• Must be ServSafe certified or capable of obtaining certification.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in warm and cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure team members provide outstanding service to satisfy guests.
• Assist management with training and coaching team members.
• Utilize AES systems to run a great restaurant on all shifts.
• Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory.
• Set and meet restaurant goals for service and operations.
