Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager in Kissimmee, FL to lead a fast-paced store team, uphold service standards, and coach colleagues during every shift. You will play a critical role in supporting store operations, driving performance, and developing future leaders—one shift at a time.

You’ll handle food service, stocking, cash handling, and inventory while building a culture of accountability and guest focus.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Set the tone with a cheerful, can-do attitude that motivates your team.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time, offering guidance and support during every shift.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when necessary.
• Train and guide your team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, vendor check-in, and promotional communication.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Model accountability, relay updates from leadership to shift associates, and drive results.
