Bruegger’s Bagels is hiring a Shift Leader in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role involves leading a team, maintaining quality, and ensuring a safe, clean store while delivering a great guest experience.

You will collaborate with the General Manager, coach staff, and help open/close shifts. The position offers a flexible schedule, development opportunities, and a clear path to advancement within Bagel Brands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work varied hours/days including early hours and weekends.
• Must be able to pass a background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess, or be able to acquire, ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (preferred but not always required).
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
• Ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to set morale and tone and drive performance.
• Grow your career from Shift Leader to General Manager as opportunities arise.
