KFC is seeking a Shift Leader in Wheaton, MD to drive daily operations with energy and a customer-first mindset. You will coach Team Members, ensure food safety and quality, and collaborate with the management team on store initiatives.

Your leadership will inspire excellence and accountability across shifts. Success in this role requires strong communication, dependable attendance, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of restaurant/retail experience; 3 months shift lead preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation access.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Experience with cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Execute KFC Connect Success Routine to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee team tasks and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy.
• Provide feedback to RGM on performance.
• Assist in screening Team Members candidates.
• Support cash control, inventory, and labor management.
• Oversee product preparation, rotation, cooking, and holding times.
• Assist with facility maintenance and health/safety compliance.
