Job summary

Buff City Soap is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to maintain a high-energy, positive environment focused on client-centric service. You will drive store performance, lead Makery operations, and ensure operational excellence to meet productivity goals.

You will supervise Makery and set expectations for the team, leading by example in all store activities. The role requires managing daily operations, coaching staff, and helping drive revenue while maintaining a clean, professional Makery

Qualifications

• College education preferred but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Skilled Trainer, motivator, and leadership qualities desired.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and Manage daily Makery operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet personal sales targets.
• Maintain a professional and clean Makery environment.
• Set goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Manage stock of raw materials, finished products, and supplies.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory and production, assist with Makery Manager functions.
• Assist Store Manager in controlling top-line revenue and expenses.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
• Expect to work five days per week, ~30–45 hours depending on status.
