Gelati Celesti Ice Cream is growing and needs part-time Shift Leaders to join our team at our Chesapeake location!

As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading store operations in the absence of the Assistant Manager or General Manager. We expect you to lead by example with a positive attitude and hard work, focusing on product quality, team leadership, and customer service. We're looking for individuals who connect well with people, enthusiastically guide their teams, and create a friendly, caring environment. Both full-time and part-time positions are available; previous leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Leading a team
2. Ordering products, maintaining inventory, and enforcing food safety and health standards in a clean, organized area
3. Maintaining a positive environment and adapting to new menu items and procedures

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of management experience in retail
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability (day, night, weekends, holidays)
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and turn for long periods
• Ability to reach, grasp, talk, hear, taste, and smell
• Capability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
