Responsibilities
- Manage Hourly Team Members and interact with Guests in a friendly, professional, and responsive way.
- Execute opening, mid, and closing duties daily following company standard procedures and recipe guidelines.
- Handle Guest concerns and guide them toward a positive resolution.
- Perform cash-handling, set up POS drawers, perform comps and voids, and manage deposits during the shift.
- Lead the Team Members, motivating adherence to procedures, urgency, and a positive Guest experience.
- De-escalate issues between Team Members and foster a collaborative environment.
- Support Management with the inventory process.
- Prioritize food safety by performing line checks, monitoring shelf storage and expiration dates, and maintaining a clean restaurant.
- Manage the daily prep list and sign off on all prepped items to ensure adherence to specifications and flavor profiles.
- Maintain a safe environment by enforcing use of cut gloves, keeping floors clean and dry, and removing obstacles.
- Deliver a friendly, welcoming, exceptional guest experience.
- Embrace feedback, take accountability, and show eagerness to learn.
- Proficient in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Comfortable in all areas of the restaurant in relation to culinary, hospitality, and Guest interaction.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a Restaurant Environment.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on Restaurant needs.
- Regularly exposed to heat and/or humid conditions.
- Lunch and dinner rushes require constant multitasking in a fluctuating, fast-paced work environment.
- Allergen exposure to wheat, nuts, gluten, soy, and milk products on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Kneeling occasionally to reach low storage and refrigeration.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with compassion, composure, and professionalism.
- Possesses a Food Handler's Certification and is comfortable working around food.
- Possesses an Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification and complies with all regulations.
- Good vision (close, distance, peripheral). Dexterity to handle equipment.
