Job summary

Jersey Mike’s Subs in White Hall is seeking a Shift Leader to support the management team and lead the restaurant during shifts. This role offers both full-time and part-time options, with opportunities to grow within a culture-driven brand.

You will coach team members, ensure top-quality food, and deliver a complete guest experience while upholding food safety and cleanliness standards. The position supports store managers and expects high energy under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe / Food Handler certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus.

What You’ll Do

As a Shift Leader, you are responsible for supporting the management team and leading the restaurant during your shifts. This includes:

• Coaching and motivating team members to deliver outstanding customer service

• Producing food that meets Jersey Mike’s high quality and consistency standards

• Delivering the complete Jersey Mike’s guest experience

• Leading by example with professionalism, urgency, and integrity

• Managing cash handling and key-holder responsibilities

• Opening and closing the restaurant

• Enforcing policies, procedures, and food safety standards

• Maintaining a restaurant that is noticeably cleaner than others

• Leading and managing a crew of team members

• Participating in local and national marketing initiatives

• Helping build sales through execution, service, and teamwork

• Developing team members for future growth and advancement

• Completing and following the Learning Management System (LMS) training program

• Communicating effectively with the GM, ASM, and Other Managers

• Operating with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment

Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Full-time AND Part-time options

Pay & Perks

• $15.00–$16.00 per hour + tips

  (average tips add $3–$5/hour)
