Job summary

Habit Burger & Grill is seeking a Shift Leader to oversee FOH & BOH operations, ensuring exceptional service and adherence to safety and quality standards. You will support recruiting, training, and supervising front-of-house staff while helping manage food and labor costs and drive sales.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude are essential, along with flexibility for full-time shifts and occasional travel for meetings and training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related management experience preferred or 2 years in otherfood service roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Manager Certification and/or ServSafe Manager Certificate required.
• Flexible full-time schedule based on restaurant needs.
• Occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all FOH & BOH operations during shift and ensure smooth service.
• Recruit and hire FOH staff; train and develop team to meet service standards.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Control food and labor costs; monitor inventory and cost controls.
• Drive sales through guest satisfaction and prompt issue resolution.
• Open/close restaurant using standard checklists; manage cash deposits.

You will assist in ensuring an exceptional service experience for every guest. The Team Member is frequently exposed to heat, steam, fire, and noise.
