Insomnia Cookies is one of the fastest growing, late-night sweet indulgence companies in the country. We are opening a new store at 1201 Half St. SE Suit 130, Washington, DC 20003 (Washington Navy Yard) and are hiring a Shift Leader to manage our bakery day or night.

As a Shift Leader, you predict the flow of business during a successful shift, build orders, engage in suggestive selling, bake, and interact with customers. Your leadership style includes building a productive and fun night for the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all guests throughout their experience within our bakery.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in training and coaching team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew team.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean, working environment for guests and staff and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.

Desired Skills / Experience
