REPORTS TO: General Manager

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT

:

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

• Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and any other applicable regulations required for the legal operation of the business.
• Provide excellent guest service; our layout encourages interaction with customers.
• Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain profitability by managing shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllable expenses, utilities, and sales growth.
• Remain calm under pressure during busy lunch and dinner rushes.
• Lead the restaurant team to meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness, embracing the Firehouse Subs culture, mission, and vision.
• Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing operational plans and company initiatives profitably and promptly.
• Flexibility in scheduling is appreciated; the more hours available, the better.
• Support a team environment by shifting positions or assisting coworkers as needed.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
• Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Promote and implement all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner regarding any issues affecting the business.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the GM/Owner.

Compensation: $13.00 per hour
