Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Shift Leader in Florida to support senior leadership in daily restaurant operations and staff development. You will coach teammates, ensure operational excellence, and uphold Chick-fil-A's service standards to create REMARKable guest experiences.

You will lead by example, manage shifts, and collaborate with the leadership team to foster growth, deliver strong customer service, and maintain a positive, fast-paced work environment.

Our Shift Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Shift Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Shift Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Shift Leader Responsibilities:

• Oversees the daily operation of the organization in alignment with the vision of the Operator. Responsible for managing shifts and team members to provide REMARKable experiences for each guest, all day, every day. This position focuses on effective leadership/management of staff positioning, hospitality and cleanliness. This position works closely with the Director team to ensure operational goals are met and that our Team Members are equipped and coached to ensure their success.
• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant
• Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs
• Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Be a friendly, encouraging team player
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers and finalize day
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
