REPORTS TO: General Manager

POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specific shift designated by the General Manager while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

  • Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage laws, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other legal requirements.
  • Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain the profitability of the business by managing shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture, mission, and vision.
  • Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operational plans and company initiatives efficiently and profitably.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
  • Actively participate in Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner regarding any issues impacting the business.
  • Work on your feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the GM/Owner.

Compensation: Starting at $10 per hour.
