Job summary

Popeyes is hiring a Shift Leader in Muskegon, MI to guide crew, ensure fast and friendly service, and maintain quality standards during busy shifts.

You will train team members, oversee opening/closing tasks, handle guest questions, and uphold health and safety guidelines while delivering the Popeyes experience guests expect.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile, take orders and process payments.
• Prepare and package food and drinks.
• Maintain dining room and restroom cleanliness and exterior areas.
• Ensure health and safety standards in all work areas.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Popeyes menu items and brand.
• Check food quality and temperature to ensure freshness and safety.
• Unload and stock inventory items as needed.
• Act with integrity and promote Popeyes culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile while receiving orders and processing payments
• Prepare and package food and drink products
• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant, including dining room, restroom, and exterior
• Ensure health and safety standards are met in work areas
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Check food quality and temperature throughout the day to ensure freshness and safety
• Unload and stock inventory items as needed
• Act with integrity and honesty, and promote the culture of Popeyes

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and coworkers
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations and work multiple stations
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 15 pounds of force frequently
• Ability to carry products/boxes and miscellaneous items weighing no more than 60 pounds
• Consistently operate registers and handle product preparation
• Consistently kneel and follow proper lifting procedures
• Frequently stoop and pick up supplies and trash
• Consistently push to open and close doors to store and storage areas
• Consistently stand during serving customers and training
• Consistently communicate with team members and guests
• Consistently lift for product preparation, stocking, and inventory
