Job summary

Five Guys Burgers and Fries is seeking a responsible shift leader to join our restaurant leadership team. You will oversee daily operations, support crew performance, and ensure top quality food and guest service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High school diploma, some post high school education a plus.
• 1-2 years previous leadership experience in some capacity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tasks, ensuring smooth service, product quality, and compliance with Five Guys standards.
• Train, coach, motivate, and supervise crew members; may assist with hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold the friendly service culture.
• Ensure proper food preparation, quality, and strict adherence to health and sanitation regulations.
• Manage supplies, inventory, and ensure the restaurant's equipment, facility, and grounds are clean and maintained.
• Handle cash, including register operations and reporting.
• Perform all crew member duties (grill, fries, prep, cashier) as needed.

THE BASELINE QUALIFICATIONS

• Financials:Handle cash, including register operations and reporting.
