Job summary

Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Lawrenceville, GA is seeking fun and energetic shift leaders to join our restaurant leadership team. You will oversee daily tasks, ensuring quality and adherence to Five Guys standards while supporting a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

The role includes training and coaching crew, assisting with hiring, ensuring food safety, managing inventory, cash handling, and performing hands-on work across grill, fries, prep, and cashier.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High school diploma; some post high school education preferred.
• 1–2 years leadership experience required.
• Willing to perform crew duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily tasks, ensuring smooth service, product quality, and adherence to Five Guys standards.
• Train, coach, motivate, and supervise crew members; assist with hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold friendly service culture.
• Ensure proper food preparation, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Manage supplies and inventory; maintain restaurant equipment and cleanliness.
• Handle cash operations and reporting; participate in daily financials.
• Perform all crew duties (grill, fries, prep, cashier) as needed.

THE BASELINE QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum age: 18 years old
• High school diploma, some post high school education a plus
• 1-2 years previous leadership experience in some capacity

• Operations Management:Oversee daily tasks, ensuring smooth service, product quality, and compliance with Five Guys standards.
• Team Leadership:Train, coach, motivate, and supervise crew members; may assist with hiring and disciplinary actions.
• Customer Service:Deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold the friendly service culture.
• Food & Safety:Ensure proper food preparation, quality, and strict adherence to health and sanitation regulations.
• Inventory & Maintenance:Manage supplies, inventory, and ensure the restaurant's equipment, facility, and grounds are clean and maintained.
• Financials:Handle cash, including register operations and reporting.
• Hands-On Work:Perform all crew member duties (grill, fries, prep, cashier) as needed.
