Description of Position

The Shift Leader works as part of our restaurant teams to ensure exceptional service and food quality in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include overseeing full and partial shifts, opening and closing the restaurant, maintaining inventory, and ensuring food quality and sanitation standards are met.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead, monitor, coach, and train team members to ensure operational excellence.
2. Adhere to labor metrics and monitor sales during shifts.
3. Complete cleaning duties thoroughly and with integrity.
4. Work hands-on in all restaurant positions and assist team members as needed.
5. Provide an exceptional guest experience following service standards.
6. Handle opening and closing managerial tasks, including checklists and cash handling.
7. Address guest issues or conflicts promptly and report to the General Manager.
8. Manage food orders, check-ins, and storage.
9. Perform daily temperature checks to ensure food safety.
10. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable work environment.
11. Communicate effectively with management about operational issues.
12. Report team member concerns to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Team player with positive energy and a desire to learn and grow.
• Strong communication skills.

Other Requirements

• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, including overhead lifting.
• Reliable transportation.
