Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking a proactive Shift Leader for its Modern Market Eatery in Colorado. The role focuses on keeping shifts running smoothly and maintaining guest service standards in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting.

You will oversee opening/closing duties, supervise team breaks, and coordinate tasks across stations to ensure quality and consistency. Prior shift leadership and food-handling training are preferred, with overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers training and alcohol service training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant cleanliness and delegate side work tasks.
• Monitor food quality and consistency.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as manager in charge.
• Run the shift while ensuring breaks are taken on schedule.
• Work across stations and assist where needed.
• Support the manager with additional duties as required.

Job Details Modern Market Shift Leader

What you’ll do:

Are you looking to grow in a restaurant leadership role? Do you have a passion for ensuring shifts are running smoothly and that guest service expectations are being met? If so, this is the job for you! We are Modern Market Eatery – a farm-fresh eatery that serves awesome food in a fast-paced, open kitchen setting. We love food and we love providing an excellent guest experience to each person that walks through our door. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join our team.

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed

What you’ll have:

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required
• Exceptional communication skills
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others
• Ability to multi-task
