Job summary

Modern Market Eatery is seeking a Shift Leader in Colorado to grow into a leadership role within a fast-paced, open kitchen environment. You will help ensure guest service standards, supervise shifts, and support a team to deliver high-quality, farm-fresh meals.

You’ll supervise opening/closing, monitor food quality, and coordinate breaks and tasks across stations. The role requires initiative, reliability, and strong communication in a busy restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while ensuring breaks are taken at the appropriate times.
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed.
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.


• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
