Job summary

Modern Market Eatery in Littleton, CO is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to help run open-kitchen service and uphold guest standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure cleanliness, monitor food quality, and supervise opening/closing procedures while supporting the manager. Requires at least 6 months in a restaurant shift leadership role and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required.
• Exceptional communication skills are essential.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others and multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while ensuring employees take breaks at appropriate times.
• Work all stations in the restaurant and assist the manager as needed.

We love food and we love providing an excellent guest experience to each person that walks through our door. We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Shift Leaders to join our team.

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks
• Continually monitor our food and food quality
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
