Modern Market Eatery in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced Shift Leader to help run shifts, ensure guest service goals, and maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced, open kitchen environment.

You will supervise opening/closing procedures, lead team members, monitor food quality, and coordinate breaks. Prior shift leadership in a restaurant and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day.
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time.
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.


• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $5 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
