About the Shift Leader Role

The Shift Leader is a full-time position that leads peers and supports daily operations. You will protect and maintain our Judgement Free Zone and coach team members to do the same. Your focus will be on leading peers through task completion and driving success of club priorities and KPI goals, while providing an exceptional member experience through communication and interaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Guiding peers to complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Modeling behaviors to provide an outstanding member experience; coaching and inspiring others.
  • Supporting team members with elevated member concerns.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Greeting members/guests and assisting with questions or concerns.
  • Promoting our Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members and supporting their fitness journeys.
  • Resolving member concerns and escalating as needed.
  • Answering phones and assisting callers.
  • Performing membership functions such as sign-ups, updates, cancellations, and billing.
  • Conducting tours and assessing member needs.
  • Executing retail transactions and driving sales.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and amenities.
  • Performing safety and cleanliness walk-throughs and addressing issues promptly.
  • Addressing maintenance concerns.
Qualifications
  • 6-12 months of customer service experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided).
  • Basic computer skills.
Physical Demands
  • Standing and moving throughout the club.
  • Communicating in person or on the phone.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Encountering chemicals during shift.
  • Frequent cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Moving and bending to accomplish tasks.
