Job summary

Thrive Restaurant Group is seeking experienced Shift Leaders for Modern Market Eatery in Colorado. You will oversee shifts, ensure guest service standards are met, and help the team stay on track in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, delegating side work, monitoring food quality, coordinating breaks, and assisting the manager as needed while swapping stations to cover busy periods.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day.
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time.
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.

• This position is paid hourly and is eligible for overtime in accordance with laws applicable to the work location.
• This position is eligible to participate in Tip sharing! This benefit can add upwards of $2 / hour additional pay and is paid out each pay period.
