Job summary

Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Eagle, Idaho is seeking a Crew Member to deliver energetic, unparalleled hospitality to every customer. You will assist with food and smoothie prep, operate the POS, and keep stations clean and stocked in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Successful applicants have prior Tropical Smoothie Cafe crew experience, work well in a team, and can follow brand standards while maintaining a positive, energetic attitude during shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Tropical Smoothie Cafe Crew Member is preferred.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Job description

Interacts with crew members and customers using “Tropitude” (Tropitude is our “mojo” and what makes

Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different and means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere).

Delivers ‘Unparalleled Hospitality’ to each customer that visits our cafe.

Knowledgeable and proficient in each position within the cafe, including making food and smoothies, point of sale, and cleaning taks.

Successfully completed the Café Basics Training Program and Certified Trainer Program.

Ensures each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s standards.

Answers questions from crew members during each shift to ensure brand standards are upheld.

Uses Tropical Smoothie checklists to complete necessary daily tasks

Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the cafe.

$13 to $19/hr

Requirements:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Experienced Tropical Smoothie Cafe Crew Member.
• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Most shifts are between six to eight hours, but this may vary.
• Crew Leaders can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend and/or holiday hours and
• may have additional opening/closing responsibilities.
• Coach Crew Members by demonstrating Tropical Smoothie Cafes core values in all interactions.
• Comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform and personal hygiene polices for each shift.
