Position Description

The Shift Leader works as part of our restaurant team to ensure exceptional service and food quality in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include overseeing shifts, maintaining inventory, and ensuring food safety and sanitation standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead, monitor, coach, and train team members for operational excellence.
2. Manage labor metrics and monitor sales during shifts.
3. Ensure cleaning duties are completed thoroughly.
4. Work hands-on in all restaurant positions as needed.
5. Provide an exceptional guest experience.
6. Follow service standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
7. Perform opening and closing managerial tasks, including cash handling.
8. Handle guest issues and report to the General Manager.
9. Manage food orders and safety checks.
10. Maintain a safe, clean, and fun work environment.
11. Communicate effectively with management.
12. Report team member concerns to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Team player with positive energy and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills.

Additional Requirements

• Stand for up to 10 hours.
• Lift up to 50 lbs, including overhead.
• Reliable transportation.
