Description of Position

The Shift Leader works as part of our restaurant team to ensure exceptional service and delicious food in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. The role involves working various team positions, overseeing shifts including opening and closing, maintaining inventory, and ensuring food quality and sanitation standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Lead, monitor, coach, and train team members for operational excellence.
2. Adhere to scheduled labor metrics and monitor sales during shifts.
3. Complete cleaning duties thoroughly and with integrity.
4. Become proficient in all restaurant positions and work hands-on with team members.
5. Provide an exceptional guest experience.
6. Follow the Six Service Standards and PLUS 1 to ensure guest satisfaction.
7. Perform opening and closing managerial duties, including checklists and cash handling.
8. Handle guest issues or conflicts and report to the General Manager.
9. Manage food orders, check-ins, and storage.
10. Conduct daily temperature checks to ensure food safety.
11. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable work environment.
12. Communicate effectively with management about business-impacting information.
13. Report team member issues to the General Manager.

Qualifications

Other Requirements

1. Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including overhead.
3. Reliable transportation.

Compensation and Benefits
