Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Fort Wayne seeks a Supervisor to lead a first-shift team (M-F, 6am–2:30pm) responsible for loading and unloading freight, inventory control, and assembly of server racks and components.

You will oversee cycle counts, ensure safety, guide staff, monitor accuracy, and drive efficiency changes, with a background check required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required; 3–6 years in material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, organizes, and coordinates cycle counts, inventory replenishments and material returns.
• Ensures adequate safety measures are followed to protect personnel and property.
• Advises subordinates with questions or problems in any aspect of work activities.
• Monitors work and examines production areas for accuracy, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Recommends and implements documented changes to procedures to improve efficiency.
• Performs or assists subordinates in performance of duties.
