Job summary

The Blossoms at Prescott Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Charge Nurse / Shift Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants in a Prescott, AR facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and support the DON in delivering high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Arkansas RN or LPN license.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability.
• Must be able to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing assistants and supervise shifts.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations governing long-term care.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure staff adherence.
• Chart nurses’ notes and ensure accurate documentation of care and patient responses.
• Administer medications as ordered and verify patient identity.
• Participate in quality assurance, discharge planning, and interdepartmental coordination.
