Job summary

Leslie's in Grand Rapids is seeking a Shift Lead 2 to provide superior customer service and support the General Manager in daily store operations. You will greet customers, handle POS transactions, and help keep the store welcoming and well merchandised.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or ongoing studies, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Pay ranges from $15.73 to $17.73 per hour, based on education, experience and market data.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School.
• A valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• Customer service experience or retail experience.
• Experience leading a team (preferred).
• Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with their pool and spa care needs.
• Accurately and timely complete sales transactions using the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, well merchandised, and welcoming environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Position requires open and closing duties, including bank deposits.
