Job summary

Bunge Morristown, Indiana is hiring a Shift Supervisor to oversee day-to-day Protein Production operations. You will support the Production Manager, champion safety and food safety, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

You will monitor performance, review daily reports, and lead cross-functional teamwork to meet production and quality objectives while maintaining strict safety and sanitation standards. A 5+ year background in relevant plant operations is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent progressive experience of 5+ years in soybean crushing, oil refining, oil packaging operations, or related industrial operations.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word and other technical software as needed.
• Ability to work odd hours, weekends and rotating shift schedule required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day protein production operations on the assigned shift to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support zero-injury goals.
• Support food safety and regulatory compliance within the site’s Food Safety Management System.
• Monitor productivity metrics and generate performance reports for the shift.
• Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maximize output.
• Coordinate with maintenance for annual shutdowns and plant improvements.
• Assist with employee relations and investigations when needed.
• Demonstrate company values of teamwork, integrity and accountability.
